Bloomtown: A Different Story is a narrative JRPG mixing turn-based combat, monster taming and social RPG set in a seemingly pleasant 1960s Americana world. Join Emily and her group of friends to save their cozy town from the demonic creatures that live in the hearts of its residents!

You’re on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess.

You’re here to slay her. If you don’t, it will be the end of the world.

She will do everything in her power to stop you. She’ll charm, and she’ll lie, and she’ll promise you the world, and if you let her, she’ll kill you a dozen times over. You can’t let that happen.

You **do** care about the fate of the world, right?

Available for: Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series.

4. This Bed We Made

How Long to Beat: 4,5 – 5,5 hours

This Bed We Made is a third-person mystery game in which you play as a maid in a 1950s hotel and snoop around strangers’ rooms to uncover their deadly secrets. Discover what links guests together in this tale of love, heartbreak and murder!

Available for: PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series.

Maybe I’m being too optimistic thinking I can play all of these games this month amidst so many new releases, but I’m assuming Bloomtown will probably run into next month, which is ok.

Will you play any of these along with me?

  1. This reminds me that I should finish Bloomtown sometime so I might play along haha. And I’ve been eyeing Slay the Princess for so long, but never had the courage to give it a go. If you play it, let us know how you like it!

    1. Will do! I’m thinking I might do weekly updates with my thoughts but let’s see if I’ll have the time haha.

  2. Hoping to play Bloomtown. Although slay the princess looks intriguing and not too long as well. Yay spooky play along! Love the idea.
