December Poll written over 3 background images

Vote in the December poll!

Hi everyone,

It’s a new month so I’m here with another very important question for readers of the blog:

What’s your favourite season (or season vibe) in video games?

“Season vibe” just means that even if the games you play don’t have seasons per se, they might have different villages or areas that look characteristic of a season.

Voting goes until the 31st of December and I will write about the results in the blog next year. (Sorry, I just had to make that joke)

The games featured in the cover image are Skyrim, New Pokémon Snap and Stardew Valley. Credits to their respective pages on Steam or Nintendo.

November poll results: Readers’ favourite art styles

Our previous poll asked you: What’s your favourite art style in games?

  • Pixel art was the most popular style with the readers, with 12 votes (48%).
  • Hand drawn was the second most voted option, with 8 votes (32%).
  • 3D was the least chosen option, with 5 votes (20%).

As for me, my favourite style is pixel art. Not only do I play so many pixel art games, but I also naturally gravitate towards them when watching showcases and such!

Thank you for joining me in these silly polls.

  1. Not stupid at all, glad to see pixel art win the race!
Nowadays it’s interesting to see how different pixel art styles can be: from black & white low-resolution to colourful high-resolution.
I’m already curious which season will win!

    1. Absolutely! I love how much pixel artists can achieve with so much limitation.

Thank you for joining the polls!

  2. Skyrim all day long for those cozy, autumn vibes

Even for most games, I just feel like playing them in the fall! Maybe it’s because of the weather getting cooler, or certain memories I have, but I just love that season the most!

Looking forward to seeing the results!

    1. It’s such a good season to cozy up with a game and a cup of tea!

I’m also really curious to see the results. Thanks for joining in!
