My name’s Luiza (she/her pronouns), but I always use the name Luna for myself in games (thus the name Luna’s Gaming Log). I live in the Netherlands, but I’m originally from Brazil. I decided to create this blog to share my thoughts about the games I’ve played and to be able to have a space to discuss them with like-minded gamers.
Growing up, I used to play a lot of Sonic on my Sega console, as well as Pokémon games. I was also a fan of virtual Kisecae (KiSS) dolls (maybe that’s too niche…). I didn’t play anything for several years until I decided to get my Xbox in 2022 and that reignited my passion for gaming!
Some of my favorite contemporary games are Stardew Valley, Spiritfarer, Celeste, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Unpacking, Pentiment, just to name a few.
About the blog
What types of games will you read about here?
I mostly play indie games on my Steam deck or the Xbox, and sometimes some third-party games. I’ve also borrowed a Switch a few times so I could play some console exclusives, even though I don’t own one. Many of the games I play fall under the “cozy gaming” umbrella, such as farming/life sims and visual novels. I also really like management, puzzle and roguelite/roguelike games.
I am also a fan of board games, so I might write about some board or card games here (either physical or their digital versions).
All opinions are my own
I’m a small blogger and I haven’t received any game keys for free from developers/publishers nor gotten any money to review any games. If that ever changes, I will make sure to mention it in the corresponding post and update this page.
