About me

I’m Luiza (she/her pronouns), but I often use the name Luna whenever I choose my character’s names in games (thus the name Luna’s Gaming Log). I live in The Netherlands, but I’m originally from Brazil. I decided to create this blog to share my thoughts about the games I’ve played and to be able to have a space to discuss them with like-minded gamers.

Some of my favorite contemporary games are Stardew Valley, Spiritfarer, Celeste, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Unpacking, Pentiment, just to name a few.

Growing up, I used to play a lot of Sonic on my Sega console, as well as Pokémon games. I was also a fan of virtual Kisecae (KiSS) dolls (maybe that’s too niche…). I didn’t play anything for several years until I decided to get my Xbox in 2022 and that reignited my passion for gaming!

About the blog

What types of games will you read about here?

I mostly play indie games on my Steam deck or the Xbox, and sometimes some third-party games. I’ve also borrowed a Switch a few times so I could play some console exclusives, even though I don’t own one. Many of the games I play fall under the “cozy gaming” umbrella, such as farming/life sims and visual novels. I also really like management and puzzle games.

I am also a fan of board games, so I might write about some board or card games here (either physical or their digital versions).

All opinions are my own

I’m a small blogger and I haven’t received any game keys for free from developers/publishers nor gotten any money to review any games. If that ever changes, I will make sure to mention it in the corresponding post and update this page.

Disclaimer about AI

I will not be generating any text or images with the aid of LLMs for this blog. I might use LLMs to help me find English terms/vocabulary. I might feature games that may have used AI features.
